According to Deadspin, Notre Dame star Manti Te'o's story about having a girlfriend that died tragically of leukemia after having been in a car accident is false. Twitter had a field day with this insane hoax that may have been perpetrated by one of the top college athletes in the world. UPDATE: Te'o has issued a statement claiming he was the victim of the hoax.
